These Are One Piece's 13 Biggest Rewards

Check out the most expensive and influential pirates in the franchise!

The value of the reward placed by the government for the capture of a pirate in the One Piece universe is very important for knowing his relevance in the group. The established value will be equivalent to the size of his achievements during his journey, so the higher the reward for his capture, the more disliked by the government and respected among the pirates the character will be.

Over the course of more than a thousand episodes of the anime, many characters have had their values upgraded by becoming renowned pirates who are feared by many. In today's article, we bring you an updated list of the biggest One Piece rewards to date! Is your favorite pirate at the top? Follow us to find out!

Good Hancock

The first to open the list of One Piece's biggest rewards is Boa Hancock. The girl is worth a total of 1,659,000,000 and her powers come from the devil fruit known as Mero Mero no Mi. With it, Boa can turn any human being with thoughts of romance and lust into stone.

She was initially introduced as an antagonist in the Amazon Lily arc, but ended up getting closer to Luffy and being touched by his ideals. Today, Boa is part of the Straw Hat crew along with the protagonist's other friends. All the pirate's deeds have earned her this amount in her reward and also the titles "Pirate Empress" and "Snake Princess" as well as owning one of the biggest rewards in One Piece.

Crocodile

Among the characters with the highest rewards in One Piece, Crocodile is one of the only ones to have managed to beat Luffy in battle, and not just once! His reward is worth 1,965,000,000, an amount that was upgraded after the character tried to take the Desert Kingdom, known as Alabasta, for himself.

His powers come from the devil fruit Suna Suna no Mi and with it, Crocodile can control sand and also transform into it. He was part of the Seven Lords of the Sea, a group that was allied with the World Government, but ended up losing his position after his deeds in Alabasta, but his reward is still one of the greatest rewards in One Piece.

Eustass Kid

The Eustass Kid character

Eustass Kid is one of the characters with the highest rewards in One Piece due to the trail of blood his crew leaves wherever they go. He is the captain of the "Kid Pirates" crew and the reward for him has already reached the 3,000,000,000 mark. He is known worldwide for his violent, yet fearless behavior.

His ability comes from the devil fruit Jiki Jiki no Mi, which allows him to manipulate metal and magnetic forces. His destructive potential is high, but Eustass Kid seems to have great respect for Luffy since they both have the same goal: to find the One Piece and become the king of the pirates!

Trafalgar Law

The Trafalgar Law character

Like Eustass Kid, Law is known for being part of the "Worst Generation" of pirates because of his stance against the World Government. However, at the end of the time skip the plot went through, Law became one of the Shichibukai, sea lords allied to the government. His position was later removed due to an alliance made between him and Luffy to defeat Donquixote Doflamingo, which also increased the bounty on him to 3,000,000,000.

Trafalgar has one of the highest rewards in One Piece, equaling the price they demand for Eustass Kid and Luffy himself. His powers are healing and come from the akuma no mi known as Ope Ope no Mi. With it, he can perform miraculous surgeries and cure terminal illnesses, as well as repair physical disabilities.

Monkey D. Luffy

Like any good protagonist, Luffy has a lot of powers up his sleeve granted to him by the devil fruit "Gomu Gomu no Mi", which gives him, among other things, the power to stretch. However, he's far from being at the top of One Piece's biggest rewards. His value adds up to 3,000,000,000, just like Law and Eustass Kid.

The boy started the anime with nothing but a dream, wanting to become the King of Pirates one day and find the legendary One Piece treasure. Today, because of his strength and charisma, he is the leader of a well-known pirate troupe made up of seven extremely strong people. He has also managed to defeat several global forces in battles, which has only increased the reward he is asking for.

Buggy

The Buggy character

The main reason Buggy is among the pirates with the highest rewards in One Piece is because the Navy believes he founded the Cross Guild organization, but little do they know that this was done by the characters Crocodile and Mihawk. However, this doesn't mean that Buggy doesn't deserve a good reward for his own achievements. He was one of the first antagonists in the series and appears frequently in several later arcs.

Like other pirates, he has a devil fruit and his is the Bara Bara no Mi. This fruit means that in battle he becomes immune to slashing attacks and can also fragment his own body, controlling each piece as he sees fit. The reward for him already has a high value of 3,189,000,000, surpassing even the protagonist, Luffy.

Dracule Mihawk

The greatest known swordsman in the One Piece universe couldn't be left out of the list of characters with the highest rewards in One Piece. Dracule Mihawk is worth 3,590,000,000 and has earned this amount without relying on an akuma no mi, using only his swords as skills.

Mihawk is capable of cutting through ships with just one swing of his sword and is also known for having once been one of the seven Sea Lords allied to the World Government. This organization was dissolved after the most recent World Council and the pirates who were part of it were once again seen as enemies by the government, including Mihawk.

Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard)

Blackbeard is considered one of the most evil characters in the franchise's universe and it's no wonder that the amount asked for his capture is considered one of the highest rewards in One Piece. Its value already totals 3,996,600,000 and he is also known for being one of the only living beings to have devoured two different akumas no mi and survived afterwards.

The devil's fruit, Gura Gura no Mi, gives him the power to create earthquakes so strong that they could destroy the world, while Yami Yami no Mi gives him control over darkness. This second fruit is considered to be the most evil of all, as it perfectly matches the manipulative and violent nature of Marshall D. Teach, who recruited his entire crew at Impel Down Prison, making it composed only of criminals.

Shanks

Originally, Shanks was part of the crew of Gol D. Roger, but he eventually evolved to the point where he became captain of his own ship, commanding the "Redhead Pirates". He has one of the highest bounties in One Piece, totaling 4,048,900,000, although there's not much information about how far his powers can go.

In the pirate kingdom, he serves as a source of inspiration for Luffy and possesses immense physical prowess, all without relying on the abilities granted by an Akuma no Mi. Notably, he demonstrated his extraordinary strength by successfully deflecting an attack from Whitebeard's spear using only his sword and unwavering determination, despite not having the powers granted by a devil fruit. Such is his formidable power that his mere presence was enough to bring the battle of Marineford to a decisive conclusion.

Charlotte Linlin

With a total of 4,388,000,000, Charlotte Linlin ranks fourth among the biggest rewards in One Piece. She is called "Big Mom" because of her physical appearance and also because of the absurd number of children she has had, totaling 46 sons and 39 daughters. But as well as being a mother, she is also a very strong and powerful pirate captain who served as the main antagonist of the Whole Cake Island Arc.

Big Mom's main power comes from the devil fruit "Soru Soru no Mi" which gives her the ability to control souls. She can use this ability to fragment other people's souls into tiny pieces and shorten people's life expectancy. Her ideals are utopian and she dreams of a world free of discrimination and prejudice, but the means she uses to achieve this dream are completely crooked and violent.

Kaidou

Kaidou was one of the main antagonists of the Wano country arc where he formed a powerful alliance with Big Mom. His exploits as leader of the "Beast Pirates" troupe earned him a whopping 4,611,100,000 in rewards, which earned him the bronze medal among One Piece's highest rewards.

His akuma no mi is the mythical Uo Uo no Mi, a powerful fruit that gives him the ability to transform into a large blue dragon, either in full or half-human form. Kaidou was known as "The World's Strongest Creature" and occupied the country of Wano, having been one of the "Yonkou", but was stripped of this position after Luffy defeated him.

Edward Newgate (Whitebeard)

Although he is not currently alive in the book, Edward Newgate takes the silver medal among One Piece's biggest rewards. He went by the nickname "Whitebeard" and the amount he asked for totaled 5,046,000,000. His Akuma no mi was the Gura Gura no Mi, the same one that currently gives Blackbeard the power to cause earthquakes.

Whitebeard was called "The Strongest Man on Earth" and, after the death of Gol D. Roger, he also earned the nickname of the pirate closest to achieving One Piece. He was the leader of his own crew and was also part of the "Yonkou" which are the four pirate captains known as "Emperors of the Sea" who command the New World.

Roger's goal

The character Gol D. Roger

"Gold Roger" was responsible for the entire "Great Age of Pirates" and the original owner of One Piece. Today, even after his death, his bounty remains the highest among One Piece's greatest rewards. He amassed a sum of 5,564,800,000 for his capture, which to this day has not been surpassed by any other pirate.

Before he died of an incurable disease, the government decided to execute him to discourage pirate activity, but it backfired. Before he died, Roger told everyone that he had hidden his treasure somewhere in the world and the next person to get their hands on it would take his title of "King of the Pirates" and so the Great Age of Pirates began.

Conclusion

And that was the list of the thirteen highest rewards for One PieceAlthough, at some point in the anime, Luffy may be able to surpass the values shown so far since he is the protagonist, he is only in ninth place so far.
