Bebop

Bebop is one of Deadlock's most charismatic characters. He was raised by a widowed gas station attendant who had always wanted a son and saw in his creation the son he had never been able to have. They live in harmony together working in a junkyard and listening to music.

If you choose it to play during a match, you'll have some very interesting abilities at your disposal, such as the "Explosive Punch", which deals area damage and knocks enemies backwards. You can also use the "Sticky Bomb" to stick to enemies and cause damage during the explosion, the "Hook" which can pull both enemies and wounded allies close and the "Hyper Ray", a powerful laser which is launched at enemies causing damage and slowing down their movements.

Yamato

The Yamato character

Yamato has a dark past and is one of the densest of Deadlock's characters. He was actually born under the name Kaori and had an older brother called Yamato with whom he shared leadership of the Seventh Moon. However, after her brother's tragic death, Kaori takes on his identity and continues with her dreams, giving up on herself completely and becoming Yamato.

In terms of skills, Yamato can be very useful when it comes to damage. His "Powerful Slash" and "Air Strike" blows increase the amount of damage of the charged attack and slow down the enemy respectively. As for "Crimson Slash", in addition to slashing enemies and dealing considerable damage, it is also capable of regenerating life.

Finally, his "Dark Transformation" ability makes Yamato and his dead brother become one and the same and his attributes get an upgrade, infinite ammo and immortality for the duration. This will be an excellent character to play in a group and focus on dealing a lot of damage to help the team achieve victory.

Suitcase

The Mala character

Mala is also one of the characters in Deadlock who has a dark history in his past. He wasn't born with that name, but was called Air Fairfax, heir to a great industrial empire who ended up suffering an assassination attempt when he turned 18. After surviving this, he adopted the identity of "Mala" and struggles to keep his true origins a secret.

As far as their powers are concerned, players can expect quite an impact from each of them. The first is known as "Bombardment" and, as the name suggests, launches projectiles at enemies that are focused on damage. "Flying Cloak", on the other hand, damages enemies when the character's cloak is thrown at them and you can also use it to teleport a short distance.

The skills "Enchanted Suitcase" and "Affliction" can protect and attack respectively, since the former allows the player to hide inside his suitcase and the latter deals continuous damage to enemies nearby. A character well suited to those looking for better area control when playing.

Lady Geist

Jeanne Geist was much loved in her town because of her beauty, but that kind of physical attribute doesn't last forever and she lost her prominence over the years. Desperate to regain her status, she eventually found a way to return to her glory days, but it ended up costing her dearly. Her story is one of the darkest among Deadlock's characters and her gameplay one of the most difficult. This is because almost all of Lady Geist's blows take part of her life.

If she wants to deal damage, she can use "Essence Bomb", but it will cost her life. Another of her skills that can deal a lot of damage, but which will also cost her life, is "Malice", whose marks considerably increase the damage dealt to enemies, but also does some damage to the character. With "Life Drain", Lady Geist can recover her HP, but by sucking up an enemy's HP and with "Soul Swap" she swaps life bars with an enemy player.

Abrams

The Abrams character

Of all the characters in Deadlock, Abrams is one of the most suitable for novice players. In the lore, he is a renowned detective who is always solving complicated cases involving disappearances and even ritual murders in New York City. He is one of the easiest to play, not requiring much experience from the player to handle his skills.

Like the others, he has four abilities: "Life Drain", "Scapular Charge", "Infernal Resilience" and "Seismic Impact". The first causes him to drain the HP of nearby enemies while the second allows him to invest against an opponent and drag him along a path, resulting in him being stunned if a wall is hit.

The third is a passive ability that makes you regenerate life as time goes by and the last gives you the power to jump high and, when you touch the ground again, stun the enemies around you. He's a very versatile character in terms of gameplay and is suitable for various positions in the team.

Infernus

Infernus is one of the Deadlock characters who had the most troubled adolescence. He was seen as rebellious, defiant and inconsequential, but now he's grown up and seems a little more in control. However, he is still too afraid to use his abilities, even those that he has learned to control better over the years.

Among his abilities are "Catalyze" which gives him the ability to increase the damage he deals to enemies after spilling napalm and also "Flaming Advance" where he gets faster and the trail of fire he leaves deals damage to nearby enemies. He also has a passive ability called "Incendiar" which fires bullets that burn the opponent and also "Combustion Contusiva", an ability in which you literally explode to deal damage.

Ivy

The character Hera

Hera, like Bepop, was an inanimate being that came to life. But in Hera's case, it's not clear how this happened. She was just an ordinary gargoyle with no name, feelings or thoughts, but one day a little boy needed her help and she came to life and protected him. The boy in question named her Hera from then on.

Her abilities are extremely useful on the field, especially when it comes to healing, since with "Observer's Pact" she can strengthen herself and share her healing with someone on her same team by connecting to the character. In terms of damage, the player will be able to count on "Pueraria Bomb" where the character summons vines that wound enemies, "Stone Form" in which she takes the form of a stone statue to cause an impact against the ground and leave opponents stunned.

The next skill to receive attention is "Air Drop" where Hera can fly and carry both an ally and a bomb. When dropped, the bomb and the ally cause an explosion that slows down the enemies. It's an excellent option for those who want to eliminate a lot of enemies and help their allies win the match.

Seven

The character Seven

As well as being another of Deadlock's characters who is suitable for beginner players, Seven also has one of the most intriguing and mysterious pasts in the game. He was a prisoner sentenced to execution and, on the day he served his sentence, he ended up eliminating the person responsible for putting an end to him by blowing him up in front of an audience.

Seven's four abilities here are simple but accurate and great for those who aren't familiar with the game yet. With "Globular Ray" the player will be able to shoot an electric sphere in a straight line that will damage opponents. Using "Electric Charge" you can stun your enemies using electricity. "Energy Surge" and "Stormy Cloud" increase the electrical damage of the bullets fired and cause area damage through a cloud respectively.

Vindicta

The Vindicta character

Vindicta was one of the victims of the witch hunts that took place in Salem, but she came back to life when an event was held to introduce the occult to civilians in the game's lore. Her return was made in a public ritual at what became known as the Maelstrom festival. It is powerful and may not be considered very easy to use for beginners.

"Stake" is the first of his skills and he can pin enemies to their location by throwing a stake. "Flight" is the next skill and, with it, the player can jump and glide for a while, inflicting extra spiritual damage on their targets. With "Familiar Corvino" Vindicta launches a raven that attacks enemies dealing damage according to their health and with "Assassinate" the witch fires a long-range shot that deals extra damage to enemies with less than 50% HP.
